Spring Driving Tips For Michigan Drivers

With spring here now it's time to start focusing on new driving habits. At least the worry of icy roads and snow is over, but now there are new obstacles to overcome. Here are some tips to help you be a better Michigan driver this spring. Follow these tips to save on Michigan Car Insurance, because you will without a doubt have less claims.

The first thing that i see a lot of claims from is stone and broken windshield. Especially in the spring after a long winter, there are a lot of loose rocks and other objects on the highways and roads. The fix for this is stop tailgating and just back off of the vehicle in front of you. Follow at least 3 seconds behind the driver in front of you and you will be able to enjoy the commute much more and also won't get so many stone chips and broken windshield.

The next thing is to watch out to potholes. Michigan could be named the pothole state, especially in the spring. I am not encouraging you to swerve all over the road to avoid them, but watching out for them and slowing down a bit to avoid them can eliminate to your vehicle.

The final tip for you now is look out construction. Not paying attention and being forced to either cut someone off or forced off the road because you didn't see up coming construction can cause accidents and even worse deaths. Michigan road crews risk there lives everyday making our roads safer for us. Let's give back to them by slowing down when you go by them and making sure we keep them safe while they work.

These Michigan safe driving tips aren't that difficult to follow and can save you a boodle your Michigan Car Insurance by eliminating claims and accidents. The most important thing here is the increased safety for you, your family and others while we are out on the road. www.mymichiganautoinsurance.com
